Panchdhatu Meaning:

Panchdhatu , the word originated from Sanskrit means “The Alloy of Five Metals” including gold, silver, copper, zinc and iron .All these are not just metals but more than that having greater significance behind them in the form of spiritual, medicinal ,astrological and artistically.The metals strategically chosen for their individual impacts and benefits. After combining them ,they reflect positive energies which reflect positive vibration after combining them together and work as a boon for the human body ,mind and spirit. The description of Panchdhatu metals is given in Ayurveda also .They are used as therapeutic remedies and healing tools .They helps in balancing body doshas to make your health well.

Panchdhatu uses:

1.Spiritually:Panchdhatu has different space in hindu culture.It is often used in its rituals and ceremonies.The statues and idols of the deities are made of Panchdhatu. Iron: Iron is a robust metal.So it symbolizes  strength and safety .The weapons were made of iron in ancient time.it is also a necessary element for the body.

Mythological Story Related To Panchdhatu:

According to hindu mythological story in the war of Mahabharta Lord Krishna gifted a shield of  to Arjun ,which was made of Panchdhatu.It shows that from how much back time it was in used.Its significance present in many occasions also.It is a part of indian rich culture.
